Almost ready – QuitoCasi listos – Quito

Yesterday, we arrived to Quito, after a marathon of cleaning and launching client’s websites.

Before we left, we had to clear the whole downstairs floor of La Casita, because we are going to have it waxed while we are gone. This meant all the furniture had to go into the kitchen or upstairs. It took us a while, but we got the whole place cleaned, including taking the bathroom sink out. We arrived to my mom’s house by mid-afternoon, by night time we were having an exquisite meal with my mom and three of her friends.

Today we are putting in long hours into work, tomorrow will be spent working too. Monday, we will drop the pups off at San Jose and spend the night there. By Wednesday morning we should be out of here.

PS: There are two things that I can barely stand – 1. Lots of dots together. 2. Loosing photos. Today our memory card “deleted itself” (according to me – in Jax’s words “technical problems”). We lost about 1,000 photos – aaarghh. Anyway below – is our current state as I write.

Abajo nuestro estado actual.

The floor already looks great. What species of wood is it?
