We spent this weekend with my mom and sister. Well, to be honest it wasn’t the whole weekend, it was more like 24 hours but we spent it with them and that was cool. They arrived Friday night, at around 7:00pm with lots of hugs and house-warming gifts. That night, we did not see them much because they had to go eat dinner with one of my mom’s friends. The next morning we had breakfast together and soon after we left the farm to go blue jean shopping for Jax and I, to the Otavalo market and to lake-side country club to grab some lunch before they headed back to Quito. The time was short but great, it was especially cool to have my family see where we live.
Sunday morning, we woke up ready for a day of work. After a wonderful breakfast I opened my computer, only to discover that my delete key did not work anymore. The reason? Well, yesterday I was coughing a lot (yes, I’m still sick… boring) and my perfect man made me some hot tea. While I was pouring it into my cup, the tea bag came flying with burning water and landed on my hand and some of the water landed to my computer (I really mean some, like a few drops). At the moment, everything was working fine, but apparently something went wrong… Jax (the tech savvy person of our relationship) thinks it might get better by itself! Fingers-crossed, because designing and writing (the two things I do for a living) are much harder without a delete key.
